Panta Rei Fusion Dance

Panta Rei Fusion Dancing celebrates highlights of a variety of dance styles from different cultures, and fuses them into new and dynamic choreographies. Dances are presented in a setting of artistic and creative expression, reflecting the feelings that can be invoked by gypsy, Indian, Spanish, bellydance, African and world music and dancing.

As a troupe, Panta Rei and the Waves perform and give workshops at local festivals, nursing-homes, community centres, art groups, women groups, youth groups and schools. Performances feature sensational dances on music ranging from percussion-driven rhythms to graceful relaxation, presented in a spectacular display of costumes, colour and flux.

The common medium of dance and music is particularly suited to enrich people's appreciation and understanding of different cultures, enabling a form of direct, non-verbal communication, immersing the audience with heart and soul into an in-depth experience of different cultures.

Panta Rei appreciates the support provided through the Regional Arts Development Fund as part of Caboolture Shire Council's ongoing comittment to improving the lifestyle of residents.
