Hilary Mettes 11 December 1926 - Robert Lee (Hilary) Mettes was born on 12 December 1923 as the seventh child of James Haley Mettes and Mary Leona Delaney. The name Hilary was given to Robert as a religious brother.   The photo at the top of this page is part of a photo taken about 1990.
