Jacob Mettes was bapt. in Wognum on 19 Sept 1802. Jacob was a farmhand of Westwoud, and he died in Hoorn on 8 Mar 1838. Jacob was a son of Jan Mettes and Geertje Willemse Stam. On 5 Dec 1828 in Westwoud, Jacob married Aagje Vrijers, who was bapt. in Nibbixwoud 31 December 1805 and died in Hoorn 15 March 1838. Aagje was a daughter of Klaas Vrijers and Antje Ruiter.
