Marianne has been writing and performing her music together with her brother Jonathan for longer then they can remember. The charismatic pair perform with passion and determination while yielding a unique quirky, yet earnest realness to their music and stage presence.

Qualifications:

  • Pro-Tools 101 Certificate

    Australian Film, TV and Radio School (AFTRS), 2009

    Official certification of industry standard studio sound production software.

  • Bachelor of Fine Art - Visual Art (Intermedia)

    Queensland University of Technology (QUT), 2004

    Double major in digital arts and songwriting/production, with a minor in film & TV.

  • Professional musician/singer-songwriter/performer

    NSW, ACT & QLD 2000-present

    Performs paid gigs at most well-known venues across Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra together with brother Jonathan.

  • Studio producer

    2002-present

    Self recorded, produced, mastered & engineered a total of seven CDs and two DVDs with own works: composition/songs, video-clips, paintings, drawings and animations.

  • Event Organiser

    Canberra & Brisbane, 2005-2009

    Created a network and a place in the community for both songwriters and audiences.

  • Winning act of national busking competition

    Canberra, ACT 2007

    First prize ($1,250.-) at National Busking Competition “Tilt”.

  • Music featured in film soundtrack

    Brisbane, 2007

    “Time is Passing” song featured in Soundtrack Independent film “All My Friends Are Leaving Brisbane”.

  • Composer for dance choreographers

    Brisbane, 2004-2007

    A current total of seven pieces composed for several choreographers and several pieces are still being performed across Australia and Taiwan.
