Together Strong
My life was black,
my mind was dead;
there was no future,
a past so sad;
no-where to go,
no option left;
I thought the world would be better off
if I killed myself.
I almost died,
I was halfway gone;
the cold wind of death
was blowing in my mind;
the I realized (that)
the thing to do
was to be strong
and to accept myself,
with all my faults
and all the weakness
that we share alike,
because we are strong
accepting each other,
because we believe
in optionality.
Together strong,
together better,
better than the one,
(than) one could ever be,
because we work
with one another
and we believe
in optionality.
Together strong . . .
