The Rise & Fall of the Government

Everywhere around the world
there is so much pain and misery;
most people shut their eyes for it,
they act as if they don't see;
but did you ever wonder why
so many people have to cry;
if you find it hard to understand,
well, let me then give you a helping hand.

People used to roam the lands
and thought they had freedom in their hands;
some people settled down
and started to build a town;
and, as the law was written down
and the king lost his crown,
the Government arose
and any freedom froze;

and now the world is carved up;
there are nations-every where,
with governments to rule them
and people in despair;
yes, the world is carved up,
any-where you go;
there's no more freedom;
that's what I wanted you to know.

It is a system so bad;
it makes the whole world so sad;
but things are changing;
the whole world is changing . . .

The concept of a government
is nothing but imprisonment;
it tells you what you cannot do;
it takes your money and decides for you;
in each and every continent
you will find that there is government;
so there is no escape
from this on-going rape.

The world is carved up;
with nations every-where,
with governments to rule them
and people in despair;
the world is carved up,
from America to Tokyo;
there's no more freedom,
where-ever you may go.

It is a system so bad;
it makes the whole world so sad;
but things are changing;
the whole world is changing . . .

But there will come an end
to the rule of government;
as information can be sent
from continent to continent,
optionality will grow
with free information flow
and dictatorship will die
because it is all based on a lie.

The world won't be carved up,
with nations every-where;
and there will be freedom
without despair;
the world won't be carved up
any-where you go;
but there will be freedom;
that's what I wanted you to know.

When will this evil be dead;
when will the whole world be glad,
that it's over,
glad that it's over . . .
