Home is where we want it to be

Have you ever been away;
left the one place where you used to stay;
and felt lonely, lonely like a dog,
that has been left behind in the fog?

Then it's home, home, home's the place to be;
when you're homesick there's nothing else you can see
but home, home, home's the place to be,
there is only one place you want to be.

If you've ever felt like I just told
and you've been hungry and lying in the cold
and you think you've left the one place to be
for something else that you wanted to see,

Then it's home, home, home's the place to be;
when you're homesick there's nothing else you can see
but home, home, home's the place to be,
home is the one place where you feel free.

You may believe that when your hometown is back in sight,
all your troubles have gone and everything is gonna be all right;
but let me tell you that home is not a geographical site,
but it's to live in freedom without having to fight.

There is a home, home, a home for you and me;
and it is not a prison, but a feeling to be free;
one home, a home and yet another one makes three;
let's make the world full of homes for you and me.
The world is our home, home, home,
home is wherever we want home to be.
