The Bellydancers Webring

The Bellydancers Webring allows people who are interested in bellydance to view a variety of bellydancers. The idea is that one can click on the WebRing links at the bottom of each page to go to another page. Importantly, all pages should therefore display this code, and all pages should also feature bellydancers, after all, that is what makes this ring attractive! If you just have a page with advertisements and affiliate links, don't bother joining this ring!

Join the Bellydancers WebRing!

After filling in the form to join the ring, you will view a piece of HTML code that is customized for you. You need to add that code to your webpage to participate in the ring! You will also receive a confirmation email containing that code. The code will result in two lines that look like this:

You can customize the code in regard to your name, email address, site name and description. You will be given some time to add the code, before your page will be visited to check if the code has been added correctly. You can change the code to leave your email address out, in case you do not wish to display this on your site. You can also change the code to fit in with the design of your page, but always include some navigation links and a link to the Bellydancers WebRing homepage (i.e. this page)! Two examples are given on this page, a colored table example at the top and an example using jpgs at the bottom. You are welcome to copy these images onto your page! If - after some time - your site has not been added to the Bellydancers WebRing, feel welcome to send me an email at mailto:bellydance@mail.com

After you have joined the Bellydancers WebRing, you can always edit the details related to your site. You'll need to use the password that you entered above to do this. Note that if you change things, you may be given new code, so you may have to change the code on your page. Below are some further links that may be useful.

You can simply copy and add the icons onto your page, but it's even better if you add links, using your code for "previous" and "next" for the "back" and "next" icons, while linking the larger icons to the URL of this page.

Note that if you copy the above code, you need to adjust it by changing the id number, the email address and the site URL. Don't worry about this, if you join, you'll receive the code in your mailbox exactly as you need to add it!
